Calloway County is located in the southwest portion of Kentucky. Calloway County is home to Murray State University, the City of Murray, and Kentucky Lake. Rand McNally and USA Today named Murray as the “Friendliest Small Town” in 2012.

Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area (LBL) is located just across Kentucky Lake from Calloway County. LBL is compromised of 170,000-acres between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. The preserve is uninhabited and features vast rolling forests, open lands and streams, shoreline and much more to explore. You will discover attractions like historical exhibits, camping, hiking and biking trails, wildlife, and much more.
